Northern Pike

There is a prolific population of Northern Pike at Kluane anywhere from two to twenty feet of water. With ample vegetation and aquatic life, single barbless hook, catch and release management, this resource will be around for years to come.

Northern Pike are one of the fastest, most aggressive, baddest attitude, fresh water fish to be found.

On Wellesley, if you can find the long tall weeds the odds are very good that you could be in for a 50 to 100 Pike morning or afternoon. Steel leaders are a must for both casting and fly fishing for these Pike.
